Feel like crying? - WARNING Pictures in link

Some snakes are INCREDIBLY picky and just simply and outright refuse to eat anything that's already dead. Ball pythons are notorious for being picky. Yes, some will eventually take frozen-thawed with a lot of encouragement and tricks and whatnot, but some just will NOT. You can't just not feed...

Feel like crying? - WARNING Pictures in link

I am a customer of Outrageous Reptiles and I happen to be good friends with the owners. Most of their feeders are sold frozen, but there are ALWAYS exceptions and cases where live feeding is necessary and, therefore, they have to keep some live feeders available as well for those situations...

apt management comp. doesn't like rats - I'm moved, sort of

Good luck Holly. When I lived in a condo with my mom a few years ago they found out that I had pet rats and I was given 30 days to have them removed. I had a letter from Christina to send to them, as well as a note from my vet, and they still didn't give a crap. My mom called the tenancy board...

    The Simpsons

A couple of years ago we had a youth program at our church that was based on The Simpsons. The show is considered to be one of the most theological shows on the air. Every single episode has some sort of reference to God and/or faith. Sometimes even the simplest ones aren't picked up on. For...

    Fall Colors *lots of pics*

That is not unusual. Those are garter snakes and they are quite the spastic little snakes. I won't touch those one for that reason. However, here in NS we have red belly snakes and green snakes as well, and both are so small that they are incapable of biting (or at least hurting) a human so I...

Those pizzas were awesome. If I had to choose something I would definitely have to say Cap'n Crunch, Crunch Berries cereal! That was AMAZING!

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

Hmmm... I found this on the Diva Cup official website: There is actually a list of Dos and Don'ts for cleaning the cup in the FAQs

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

The Instead cups are really quite different from the Diva Cup. They are meant to be placed and worn more like a diaphragm and they are a lot easier to get wrong. They are also disposable and a lot more flexible.

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

No, not at all. Especially considering that you can spend $3000+ on feminine hygiene products in a lifetime. It very quickly will pay for itself. The website should tell you where you can buy the cup in your area. You just have to put in your zip/postal code.

I was going to suggest to check her heart, but it seems you've already done that. Sounds like a tricky situation. Are you sure that it's not just scarring in the lungs that's causing the problems now? I would imagine that over time the lungs would weaken due to repeated illnesses. I know my...

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

As far as I could see, Venus Envy did not sell the wash. There are a couple of other places in Halifax where you can buy the Diva Cup so you can always try them. You can order it online as well. I may get my hands on a bottle eventually.

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

Jo: The one that I got cost me $42.50 plus tax, at Venus Envy in Halifax. You can order them online from the website or apparently on Ebay as well. You wash it with hot water and anti-bacterial soap every time you change it and then you boil it, for 2-5 minutes, once per cycle to sterilize it...

Personal Topic for the Ladies *Boys Beware*

NOTE:This is a very personal topic and men, while educated, could be grossed out. If you are squeamish on the subject of menstruation then read no further. I got permission from a mod before posting this. Try not to get "too personal" with your answers, but use this topic as an educational tool...

Any vets around here? Or experts on neutering a kitten?

My vet wouldn't neuter Tito until he was 6-months-old. So he went in on his 6-month birthday. LOL

Is my rat a Berkshire or Agoui?

Agouti is a color. Berkshire is a type of marking. From what I can tell of your description, your rat is a berkshire for sure (the white paws and belly indicate this). You said there's brown on her lower back but you didn't say what color the rest of her is. It's possible that she could be...

Yep. He only gets pellets once a day and only a certain amount of them. He gets a salad every day as well and he's always got hay available.
