I was just concidering this yesterday. We have a CN with three shelves. I was detered because, even tho my 5m/o boy wants to climb around, my older boy doesn't and as he gets older he'll probably have HED, so I'm not going to do it now... maybe someday when I have all youngesters.

I feel like I've read about someone on a forum putting an extra "water bottle" with rooibos in for her rats regularly... just for the health benfits. I bought a bulk bag after reading that and the benfits, but its kind of tedious to make and my rats havent gotten to try it yet.

I've also noticed you have had losses to surgery, and was going to say to stop letting your vet op for now. Its obvious you love your rats, maybe driving 6+ hours ferrie whatever should be concidered more now when it comes to another surgery for them.
