So getting the required medication into their little bodies is proving to be a struggle, but I think I'm doing okay. They sem to be sneezing a little less and becoming slightly more energetic. Hooray! Although this could be them settling in a bit too, I guess. They're still pretty scared of me...

As many of you know, Cheese and Crackers are my two adopted girlies and today I got them meds (Doxycycline) for a resp. infection. They needs 1-2 drops, three times a day. The vet also mixed it up with honey ( or something sweet like that ). Problem: they WILL NOT take it. I even mixed it in...

Well, I have an appointment with a vet at the Glebe Animal Hospital... that's the closest vet to me who will see rats. Apparently other animal hospitals will see "small animals".. but rats are "too small". Go figure.. I hope these people are nice and understanding. I still can;t go anywhere near...

Well, I've been noticing that Cheese sneezes almost constantly. Now I know this could be the 'new home' sneezes, but I somehow doubt it. She sounds 'wet' when she sneezes, though I can't do a rat-phone because I can't actually pick her up, haha. She also seems rather 'squinty-eyed'.. not quite...
