    Holding down fleece

Hi guys, sorry for the double post, but after a bit of searching. I might just resow my liners into pillow case style, where they just slip into the Pans. Have any of you had any experience with this? I do have other layers within; one to absorb another that's waterproof underneath the fleece...

    Best Bedding

The males are a lot less lazy than the females and they never chew on the cardboard and by the time the females destroy the cardboard I have to change the cage anyways, this is my males cage

    Best Bedding

I started using like 3 inch or more cardboard strips, my rats kept throwing things overboard, I added it to the spots where they would make the most mess. I would just use an exacto knife to cut the pieces, I'll take a picture later.

Found domestic rat, may be pregnant?

if she's pregnant she will gain weight every day, every baby weights about 5-6grams when they are born. so if she weighs 300grams and she has 15 babies she can weight 450 grams on the day of birth or a little more. If she is pregnant and you notice a belly, you don't actually have many days...

Believe I have a pregnant rat

I want to try and find mammas to be, to adopt, but that momma is a sweet heart, this experience will probably deminish how many I end up adopting, just how the babies turned out, none has ever bit me, the work is less, there's no getting them use to you

I've developed not only a rat addiction, but a severe rat allergy :(

I'm allergic too, I use a N95 mask when I clean the cages. when everything is clean I can take it off. If I don't use a mask my asthma gets really bad. I use Nature's Miracle clean it once then vinegar +water let it sit wipe down. I just got furniture pads to put under my liner see if it will be...

    Unsatisfied Rat

Having another rat is not much more than having one though, the cleaning isn't more its the same maybe they will eat 20grams of food more per day per rat but trust me two isn't much bigger than 1, they will be happier. If the noise bothers you, maybe put the cage out of your bedroom. Check on...
