    Intros

I am trying to intro my one new girl, Maggie, to my other 4 girls. I switched the cages, so they could smell each other yesterday. Today, I put them in the tub and there was a lot of wrestling, boxing, and grooming. Is that good or bad...? Also, my new gal mounts my other girls. My girls either...

Baytril- Will it hurt a rat if they don't need it?

If you give the right amount of dosage for baytril, will it hurt a rat if they don't need it? I need to know because one of my rats is sniffling and I want to see if I can make it better.

    Skinny rat's tail turning gray?

I know what I will do now. I will separate her into a different cage to know she eats, and when she is done, put her back in the cage with her babies. (:

    Skinny rat's tail turning gray?

Should I put her in a cage alone to make sure she is eating? Or can the babies have the ensure and baby cereal mix as well?

    Skinny rat's tail turning gray?

I have a skinny mom rat, even though I feed her plenty. Carrots and apples, sometimes cheerios, and of course lab blocks. The brand is Kaytee Prohealth. She is so skinny you can feel her spine, and she is very light when you pick her up. The babies are weaned out and the boys are separated, but...

    Anybody have the Rat Manor?

I'm looking at a cage for a friend who wants two female rats. Would the rat manor be okay? Is it easy to clean? Is it sturdy? Please post pictures of your rat manor if you have one. Thanks.

    Yesterday's News for bedding?

YN is great! I used aspen before, and it would only get flung around everywhere and nobody would use the litterbox. Now, since I switched them to YN, I didn't even have to do the potty-training-process. They used it on their own, not one poop outside the litterbox! :happydance:

    Eating the YN

They've stopped eating it, and now every poop is in there! :happydance: When I used aspen, they didn't do that. Wonder why?
