Yeeeears and years ago, I had a little bottle of Nilodor (the original in the little green bottle). Well I love that stuff but cannot find it ANYWHERE now. It seems popular in the UK, but places either won't ship to Canada, only sell wholesale, or have ridiculously high shipping costs (the bottle costs about 4 bucks, but one place had a "30 dollar service charge on all Canadian orders" ) Only one store on eBay has it, and they don't ship to Canada.

Does anyone know where you can get this stuff here (online or locally)? :( Looking for the Original scent btw. Thanks~

My mom bought it when I was little for animals. I personally just love the smell of the original and would use it either way lol. :p I wonder why they don't seem to sell it here anymore...

I will try Kim's Ark and see what she says.

Jo: My rats are in my bedroom, so I keep a few drops on a tissue on my desk. But you can also throw a few drops on a cotton ball and put in the vacuum bag (instead of using powders on your floor), or in the dryer with hammocks and things. They have a concentrated cleaner too that I'd like to try though for the cages.

Edit - http://besthomemedicalsupply.com doesn't ship to Canada. Will let you know what Kim says.

I remember that stuff! My mom used it. I wasn't crazy about the smell but oddly it was an honest believable smell that did it's duty without bothering you with with unwanted smells underneath. Like most bathroom sprays that smell more like nasty underneath the nice scent touted and used to sell it. And the smell of pinesol immediately transports me to the scuzziest skidrow washroom I had to use at one time :puke: .)
I wonder if it's at all bothersome to the respiratory system and if that's why it's not sold here as it used to be? But if it's still sold in the States then maybe it's the company just trying to cut costs & raise revenues by cutting back global advertising & distribution and concentrating on a smaller but more active market. - They should get some testing done and if it's not hard on any living thing they should advertise on pet sites alone since that's would be a loyal market that would survive all 'new & improved' items. God forbid they should start testing on animals tho...

If it's not harmful and you find it, let me know I would like to try it as well. I would get in on a shipment.

I've got it from kim's ark before when i bought food. i think it works pretty good. i've only tried the baby powder one. it lasts a long time, i'm still on my first bottle.

Hmm well, the nice thing about it is that it isn't a spray or powder, so it's not flying through the air in that way. I don't use it directly in the cages because it's concentrated and it works just fine on a tissue somewhere else in the room. It's the best thing I can think of as opposed to powdered carpet fresheners, room sprays, incense, etc.

Still waiting for a response from Kim. Hopefully shipping won't be too bad.

Coco, how much would it cost to ship 2-3 bottles (if it's cheaper, the boxes aren't needed) to Ontario?

I will go to the post office within the next few days and ask if that's ok. Just been very busy at work at the minute! I don't think it'll be too much because i have family in Ontario and we send stuff there often! Would you like baby talc or spring mint? Or both..?

I'm in! not sure about the scents, which one isn't annoying. Maybe the mint.

Would it be easier to send to one person and have a person send it out in? instead of sending to different people?

Yeah for postage reasons i'd be easier to send them all to one person and then from there get split. How many bottles in total so i can get them soon.

Hmm would you be able to find out how many you can fit into a Priority Box? (or whatever they're called there).

From Kim's Ark, she will ship to Ontario at these rates:

Priority Mail® International Flat-Rate Envelope 6 - 10 Days $9.95
First-Class Mail® International Large Envelope* Varies $1.46

The bottles are: 1 for $5.25 or 2 for $9

Prices are USD.

I'm not too sure what a priority box is? I won't be alble to know how much the shipping will cost until i buy them all and check the weight. Post office's here are lame!
