I got these three boys (all dumbos) from a rat rescue in my area. I've had them a bit over three weeks now. They're my first boys. They were someone's pets who had to be re-homed due to moving so they were super friendly when I got them. I kept all of their names from the rescue.

I had to bribe them with some baby food to get a good picture :p

The boy with the stripe on his face is Chance. He was a little shy at first but he is definitely coming out of his shell. He doesn't like being handled too much, but I've found when he's sleepy in the cage (and sometimes out) he loves being pet. Another interesting thing about him - he's vegetarian! Anytime I give the others anything meaty - chicken, meat baby food - he has no interest.

The boy with the diamond on his head is Templeton. He likes attention and is super friendly. A friend told me if I was going to introduce the rats to someone who had never met rats before to start with him, and I agree. He is super well behaved and easy to handle. He also loves food. More so than the other boys.

Lastly, the all black boy is Gus. He is definitely adventurous and is always the first one to explore something new. He has a lot of confidence. He can also be a little trouble maker - the first to chew something up or try to get into somewhere/something he shouldn't. He actually has a different fur texture than the other boys. While the others are scruffy/frizzy, he is very soft and smooth (not quite like a girl, though).

They are all super adorable! I love dumbos. They just seem more approachable than normal looking ratties to people unfamiliar with rats.
