Chewie is about 560g and I need to calculate dosages for his meds that I'm using from my other rat's medication.
He's getting 0.45ml of baytril.
The bottle of doxy says: '1 x Ronaxan 100 tabs 100 mg Pk50' but I don't know what it means. How much should he be given? I reckon around 0.3?
I also have bisolvon which I assume is about just a pinch.
We haveMeloxicam 1.5mg/ml too.
I'm not sure whether to give Frusol diuretic as well.
His breathing problems have come very suddenly and I want to do all I can to fix it although I worry it's too late. I feel like all this medication is necessary.

unfortunately if there's no mg/ml for the doxy we won't be able to doublecheck and give you a dose. What dose were you giving the other rat? How much does he weigh? We can try to figure out a dose in a roundabout way.

What symptoms is Chewie showing? Baytril and Doxy should be good for anything where he's not acting ill and lethargic...Noisy is one thing but lethargy is another.

Thank you lilspaz so so much xx Chewie was put to sleep yesterday because he just didn't have an appetite for anything other than biscuits and the meds were a flop. Piddlepod suggested it may be heart congestion and to check we would've had to do an x ray and then treatments which unfortunately we weren't financially stable for. This is the end of my rat journey and I probably won't get anymore for a while-don't get me wrong they are absolutely amazing creatures. I miss my boys so much and itdefinitely feels weird without them. Thanks again for all your help
