My female rat is on. Antibiotics and I have job training in another city for 6 days, and she won't take meds easily so my sitter won't do it. She is due tomorrow (when I'm travelling) IF she is pregnant.( Some positive signs some negative signs so I have no clue)
Is this a bad idea??? I don't want her to miss her antibiotics she is not even halfway through her meds. She had an upper respiratory that I don't want it returning worse.
What should I do to make travel easier on her? How the heck can I give her meds if she does give birth?! I assume she will be extra grumpy and force feeding meds will definitely stress her!
I've slowly been getting them used to travel anyway as I will be using them as ambassadors at a zoo and education program near me. So she does well normally, but babies will definitely change the dynamic.
