The cage finally arived!!!! Not what I ordered though.... But I liked it. We shall see!
Karni Mata has the top two levels. Kubera has the bottom two (until he is neutered)
Then I will open it up.
I plan to get lots of decor after my next couple pay days as I had to tap into scholarship money for everything so far... :(

Wow, that's a decent cage though (so sorry it wasn't what was ordered!). They'll definitely be spoiled in there.

In terms of toys and such, to help budget/save a bit more, any cardboard boxes, toilet paper tubes (you can cut these into rings and turn them into balls and other toys), and fleece or non-stringy towels are great. There are a lot of no-sew tutorials for making little corner hammocks and the like, if you have any material to spare, and will save a good chunk of cash in the long term (especially if she's expecting little ones).

I wish I could offer more assistance, since I make these things for fun for my gang all the time; but you're quite a ways away from where I am. Using any rat-safe recyclables, old clothes, and fabric remnants will definitely help limit how much you need to dock into your savings.

Not SUPER significant weight gain.
It will be 21 days that I have had her by tomorrow.
She did nest yesterday, taking paper towels to her igloo, but then this morning she had shoved everything out of her igloo.
Much confusion
