So I had an unexpected litter from a rat I recently rescued, which was no big deal, I was well equipped to take care of them. However recently one of the babies (which are 4 weeks old) has started to act weirdly. There will be nothing to scare her, but suddenly she will start running frantic in the cage till she runs into a wall at full speed. She then proceeds to almost have seizures afterwards. I'm thinking maybe she had gotten injured at some point to cause neurological damage, but I can't thknk of when. Any ideas as to what might be happening?

Does she have a larger domed head than her siblings? This would indicate hydrocephalus.
How often does this happen? How bad and how long are the seizures? Do you have any video?

She doesn't have a domed head. It happens about 1-3 times a day. The seizers normally don't last any longer then 2 minutes tips. Unfortunately I don't have any videos as my furst reaction is to get her out of the cage and hold her til its over.

Please try to get a video and post it as it will provide a lot of info

Here's a video. Recently four other of our babues have started to do this as well. We'll be taking them in to the vet tomorrow.
