Today we said farewell to our last rattie....
Harvey has finally took the journey to be with his brothers and his his huge family at the Rainbow bridge.
Harvey came to us around four years ago with his 3 brothers..They were great boys and loved to frolic and play...early on in his life he contracted a slight head tilt but this never bothered him at all. He was happy to just get on with things...He loved to sit under his wooden bridge getting hours of ear scrubs and generally being pampered ...He became more reserved in his old age and slowed down, he still loved to burrow under blankets often tipping his treat bowl over... His favorite treats were rice pudding and cream and the occasional Golden Nugget ...When his last brother Connor took the journey to the bridge we decided that we would give Harvey as much love and attention as we could...Today he started his journey peacefully in his home...
Harvey was our 73rd Rattie spread over 11 years our beloved boys and girls have seen my family through some hard times and having them around have always made us smile...Harvey will be happily reunited with his family and will be well and healthy burrowing under a huge ratpile snuffling out treats and giving all our love and messages...The night sky shines brightly with the twinkle of 73 new stars...We will miss you all and when it comes time we will join you to cross that Rainbow bridge together never to be parted again...
