So one of my boys(Floki) occasionally has this loud breathing but goes away after he is active more. But since the weather is changing I'm wondering if this may play a part in his loud breathing. There is no sign of porphyrin and his brother has no breathing issues at all... So I'm wondering if it's possible allergies or maybe asthma? Would a humidifier near their cage help?

Can you post a video of his breathing? (post to youtube and put the link on here)
What does he sound like when you hold him up tp your ear and listen to both sides of his chest?
Do his sides work hard to breath?

If your air is dry then a humidifier might be helpful
Make sure there are no scents in the environment and bedding etc is not dusty

I dont have a you tube acct but im sure I can figure something out. His chest/lungs sound fine, it sounds like he has a runny nose. His breathing stays the same. His brother is perfectly fine as well. I have an air purifier near their cage. And the air might be a bit dry. And like I said when he moves around and plays it clears up. No pophrin. I'm currently at work but when I get home I'll see if I can post a video

That can be nasal but it can also be in the lungs. I'd get him checked by a vet, he will know if this is more serious. Respiratory infections can become severe real fast.

It all sounds nasal, from what I hear when he puts his chest to my ear, his lungs sound very clear. And he has clear snot. And he's more active than his brother and always eating lol. I will call my vet to schedule an appointment.

Hope he is doing better
He is... I'm thinking its allergies because 2 days can go by and he wont breathe like that. And he doesnt seem lethargic in any way... He did do something last night that caught me off guard but I wouldnt think it was serious... Just really weird/unusual.
