Small cut on foot?

My one boy cut his foot today I’m not to sure on what I believe it was when him and his brother were playing on the bed, it looks just a scratch.

He’s still happy and moving around I can see he’s putting a less less weight on the middle of his paw, I’ve cleaned the cut and put antibiotics ointment on it, I just wanted to know what else I should do and if I should be taking him to a vet at all?

keep an eye on it in case of infection
but it will probably heal fine, rats tend to heal fast

Yea, if he's not bleeding profusely, he will be fine. Maybe keep him on the bed with you for the night or put down some new or clean paper or fleece in their cage, don't want him walking on a dirty pee pee floor surface ya know? Lol
