You've heard of "butt dial", but have you heard of "rat dial"? It's a real thing! It's happened before! :p

#210 when you tell your rats at 10pm “okay boys, just some quick cuddles because I am very tired and I have to sleep” and you end up cuddling and playing until 1am :p

212

When you have to go to sleep, or at least stretch, because you don't feel your legs, but you won't move, because your rat decided to sleep in your sweater for the first time.

So you remain motionless, surfing the internet and posting meaningless posts instead :D

I can't believe this one hasn't been mentioned!:

213: the intense happiness you feel when you get your first ever brux from your new rat giving them cuddles(Especially from a timid rat!)

214: the satisfaction from bruxing and boggles in general when giving a scritch

215: having funny hoarding stories

216: watching your ratties sleeping sometimes, and feeling love rise in your chest

217: understanding the when rats decide to go under your shirt, onto your skin that their little bodies in every way are designed to be ticklish

218: their cute struts: the curious strut with their ears high, or happy bounds

[Felt the need to add to this, especially when I'm trying to spot clean my cages]

219. The little helper following your hands as you clean up poo or just items that need a quick wipe-down.

220. Said helper is up on his hind legs, front feet grabbing at your arms and chest like "please pay attention to me!" Then you give him attention and he kisses you.

221. Little helper climbs on the back of your head and shoulders when you lean down to clean a lower level. Then licks your neck, hair, and shoulders.

[Grumpy is very much my little helper. He wants to help me spot-clean his and his potential new friends' cage.]

222. Seeing a little head poke out from under a blanket and look at you with mischievous eyes...what has he/she been up to?
223. Having my rats use me as a jungle gym while I attempt my floor exercises.
224. Those precious moments when one rat grooms another...that look of pure bliss is enough to melt the heart.

Not sure what number this one would be:
Being able to get down on your hands and knees to crawl under the couch to catch an errant rat when its time to go to bed . . . at 2 am . . .when you‘ve been at this for awhile . . . no matter how old you are!
