RIP my Snowbear

So today we decided after Snowy suffering with what we believe to be a PT it was time to let her go. It was the hardest descion ever to make, but her quality of life was poor. Some of you may know that I was trying to get her the right medication, but unfortuanlty we was to late.

Snowy was at first a very timid shy little lady, who grew to trust us and loved us. I used to call her my desist because she would try and clean my mouth/teeth which I know sounds weird, but I thought it was very cute of her. Alsmot like she was trying to groom me as if I was one of them. Later into her battle with PT we had lots of cuddles and time spent together and it breaks my heart to know that she has now left this world, but I am hoping she is at peace and that she knows I love her dearly and will miss her.

Rest in peace my little lady and I hope to see you again.

Thank you very much and again thanks for the help and everyone's on here. Just hope I done the right thing. PT is horrible and I am glad she is no longer suffering.

I'm so sorry.. I was really hoping she'd pull through... But at least she knew she was loved very much. Rest in piece little rattie..

We have no way of knowing if more meds would have helped Snowy or not - given your decision it sounds like it was too late to try and her tumour sounds like it was growing very fast
With pt, the best medications can do is provide more good quality time, but sooner or later the brain tumour will get too big
I have learned that it is better to be a bit too early then too late (so they do not suffer) … but it is never easy
You prevented Snowy from suffering and that is so difficult to do but a great gift to her

So sorry for your loss! She was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet little caring ratty to make sure your teeth are clean! My sweet little Mackie cleans our lips, nose, and ears for us! She will even groom our eyes, and try to give us a new hair-do! They are such amazing little creatures. You did what was fair, and best for her. She can run free and eat all the little treats across the rainbow bridge now!

We could of tried the medication, but I think it was to late by then. She didn't like being forced fed and she didn't have a good quality life, like a rattie should have. I do wonder if I made the right decision, but unfortunately with what she had, it was never going to be a happy ending Thank you for all the help.

Yeah she was. And aww bless they really are wonderful creatures and I will never understand people who just think of them as just rats! they clearly don't know what they are missing. Yes I am sure she will enjoy all the treats that I bury her with. Thank you.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy. Snowy was clearly a special little girl, and you gave her the fine life she deserved. I hope you and Coconut can bring some comfort and healing to each other.

Thank you and thanks for all your help as well. I am trying to be strong, but it's so hard. I want to also make sure coconut is okay as well, but I am worried for her.
