He is a young baby boy that was separated from his mama and all of his brothers and sisters.
Rats need to live with at least one other rat
He is likely terrified and missing his family.
He needs at least one of his brothers asap.…. rats who live alone can become depressed, stop eating and die ……. stress also can make them susceptible to stress, the baby boy is very stressed right now.
Give him a house or a small box to use as a house, with soft bedding ……. being able to hide will help him to feel safer
I am not sure what you mean by "on time", but rats are expensive pets, they need huge cages, a healthy diet, a lot of things, and need a vet and medications when they become ill. Rats hide illness so by the time you notice they are ill, you are in a medical emergency. Rats become ill and die fast with medical care.
