I need help

I think my rat Jerry is having a stroke. He was falling down on his right side all he has been doin lying on his side not moving or eating. I called emergency vet place here in Grand Junction colorado to have him looked at no vet here take care of rats. Is my baby going to die. I don't know what to do plz help
