So I have three male rats, Ren is a little over a year old (maybe by a few months) and Fry and Gary are exactly one year old. I got Ren from a girl rehoming him when he was six months old and he was probably bigger than an adult female rat, and the others from a breeder. So they are all around the same age with only a few months difference, but Fry and Gary are TINY compared to Ren. By like, half the size but they eat like CRAZY. I’m just really not sure if this is normal since my friend has girls who are A LOT younger but so much bigger.. Anyone sure why this is? I’ve never seen any rats close to their size at that age, but they are probably the healthiest rats on the planet, since I spend pretty much all day with them.. Thx.
