I know rats have really delicate respiratory systems but I put out some cinnamon sticks far away from them, not fake scented or anything with perfume just regular natural cinnamon sticks and I was wondering if that could be harmful. I don’t ever light scented candles in that room and have an air purifier around them. I’m also wondering if a bit of lavender essential oil would be harmful if it was put in an air diffuser? I’ll definitely put the cinnamon sticks away if I notice them sneezing or if someone lets me know it’s bad! Thanks :) oh also is a humidifier beneficial to their breathing or if some natural scents are okay would anything be helpful for their lungs and all that? I’m curious! I’d never expose them to any fake things and I don’t think I’d even risk putting things that give off a scent close to them as it might bug them.

If the air is dry, then a humidifier can help
I have used a cool mist humidifier in the past

In the winter it tends to get dry so
I think I’ll invest in one for them :) thank you! Also thanks for informing me that any smell are unsafe! They are so sensitive!
