Hey all, I decided to start a new thread with a more specific title as I'd like a response asap--I've tentatively decided to go ahead with the baytril for my 2 month old rattie who is sneezing and has raspy breathing (although if I receive impassioned opinions against this I'm open to hearing you out).
He is exactly 100g. The bottle says 20mg/ml. How much should I give him for how long and how often?
His brother is 155g but shows no symptoms of respiratory issue. Should I be dosing him as well?
Edit: I tried calling the vet to figure out the concentration but they weren't sure what it was? So what I know is that it was prescribed for my mouse who weighed .022g and was to receive .01ml twice a day for 14 days. Let me know if this isn't enough information to calculate a concentration and I'll scrap this idea and visit the vet (I'd rather not have to dip into my student loan but will if a concentration can't be calculated from this information)
