If the info and pictures contained below are correct, Warning about a vet that is IMO, criminally negligent

Snuggle safes (pink disk in the picture) can not be used with unconscious animals … that is imprinted onto their surface!!!
This vet has chosen to ignore the manufacture's warning.

Snuggle safes are dangerous, must be covered, and can only be used with conscious animals that are able to move away from them

Years ago a vet used a covered snuggle safe (the pink disk) the same way it is being used in the picture …. and my baby girl was so badly burned that necropsy showed that she was burned right down to her bones.
Nicole had pulled out her stiches on a long weekend and so I took her to the rat knowledgeable vet (Krista Forman, SouthPaw Animal Hospital) on call to be restiched.
Nicole did live for 10 days while my regular vet fought to save her life ….. but poor little Nicole suffered horribly and died because of a vet who decided not to follow the manufactures instructions

Here is a picture of a snuggle safe. As you can see the surface is imprinted with a warning not to use with an unconscious animal.
In addition, the instructions that come with the snuggle safe also say it must be covered and to never use it with an unconscious animal
