I Sat On Him!

I had my two boys out in the playpen. I stood up to pick up a stray poop and place it in the litter pan within their cage. I'm still trying to train them. I checked the surroundings before I sat back down, to make sure no rats were near me, but when I did sit back down I felt something underneath me. I sat up and Gregory ran out from beneath me and into the tunnel. I immediately picked him up to make sure he was ok. His heart was racing but everything else looked and felt alright. I felt so awful! I gave him a cheerio, which he ate, then he hopped on the wheel for a run.

They're both back in their cage now and he was climbing the bars and doing his usually rattie stuff. Is he gonna be ok?

Keep an eye on him, but it sounds like he's just fine. If he's eating, pooping & peeing with no blood or limps I'd expect all is well. Oh, it's So upsetting when something like that happens, isn't it?

How is he doing? These things happen, you'll probably be way more careful next time.

He appears to be doing okay everyone. He's wrestling with his brother right now so I take that as a good sign.
