So I live in phoenix, and bulk trash is happening ATM. I found a HUGE rat cage! It's o kinda crappy shape. Its got some pretty good rust going in some spots, but I have paint and I'll be repainting it on Monday. Any reccomendations? BTW, it's 16 cubic feet. I'm really excited!

I remember awhile ago I was looking to repaint my lightly used single CN (didn't end up doing it - the boys came too soon and it was a little too much work), but I reached out for help on a different rat forum and got lots of awesome tips on what kind of paint to do, if sanding is necessary, pics of other painted cages, etc.

For paint, make sure it's "cured" or sit in the sun for a couple of weeks before adding pets. A woman's pet rabbit died after it chewed on it's newly painted cage.
