Are there any rescues in the GTA that take rats that need surgery? I have an elderly female with a prolapsed uterus. I cannot afford the surgery. I took her in back in July and the vet said it was a cyst and to let it be. It turned into a large lump inside her body, vet said it was a tumour and there was nothing that could be done. I was away for two days, this morning when I got home she has a very large pink "thing" hanging from her body. Took her back in and they said it was a prolapsed uterus. She is eating, running, acting normal. But needs surgery. My vet doesn't do payment plans and I cannot afford surgery. So she'll need to be put down tomorrow if rescues don't take sick rats.
