Stealth Wheels

Has anyone tried using this type of wheel. I'm strongly considering purchasing one because I am getting pretty annoyed about how loud the "Silent" Spinner is but I would like to know are they really as quiet as advertised? I would have to order one from the states which makes it fairly expensive but to me it would be worth it if it was quiet enough.

I have no experience with the Stealth wheel but my guys have wodent wheels which I find to be quieter than the Silent Spinner, just not as easy to clean

I REALLY wanted a stealth wheel, but the mesh is made of plastic. Knowing my little monsters they would chew right through it! I could not justify the price because of that fact alone. I then looked at the magnum wheel which is the same as the stealth wheel except the mesh is metal. I did hear one story where it hurt the feet of the rat using it. I decided against it and just stayed with the silent spinner...
Although with how the prices of silent spinner have gone up, it will soon be just as much money to buy the stealth/magnum wheels as it will be to buy the silent spinner.

I have a Stealth wheel, and it is very quiet indeed. And no rat has ever tried to chew the mesh. It's big enough for a big male rat, too.

Petunia I have a wondent wheel too but I wanted something you can easily use in the cage.

Is the plastic and mesh hard like the silent spinner plastic or is it softer?
LOL My little idiots even chewed off the some of the tracks on the silent spinner running surface! Thus the reason why I'm skeptical for use in my cages.
