I have 3 baby girls left but I'll likely just keep them as I have grown attached. My girls are Jette, Gwyn and Neve.

Jette (who is still very shy)

Gwyn meeting Patience for the first time

Neve, who had a health issue and will be kept for that reason. She's doing fantastic now, and I'm not sure what the heck happened.

Aww, sweet little girls! I'm glad Neve is ok now!

Dennis and Casper have officially moved in with the 5 month old boys! Assuming nothing major happens (I doubt that it will..) they will be in there permanently together! And then hopefully my older 3 boys can live all together with them as well.. my older 3 boys can get a bit grumpy and don't always respond well to newcomers haha so I want to get the 5 younger boys together and happy so they can all be together at least, in case things don't work out with the big boys.

I had them in the tub again this evening for about an hour and then I scooped them all up and put them in the Critter Nation together, after scrubbing everything and changing everything up. There's been a little dominance behaviour and a few squeaks, but everything seems pretty peaceful so far! I think little Casper is currently parked behind the litter box.. the space is too small for the older boys to get in there :p He has come out to explore though and seems more confident around the bigger boys now. Dennis and my black hoodie Edgar have had a few stand-offs, but little Dennis is holding his own. I think he'll probably take over poor Edgar's 2nd position in the group hehe, Shelagh predicted right, he's quite the dominant little baby!

Aw that's exciting! I haven't started intros yet but I can already tell both groups of girls (my 4 living in the CN plus the two baby girls) are going to be feisty lol

I'm very happy to say China and Eva have officially moved into the big cage and all of my girls became one big, happy family! Intros actually went fairly easy and I can tell for the most part the babies are glad to be part of this colony.

Fantastic...they will gain confidence being with the adults and socializing should be easier now :D

Eva started popcorning and playing with Coco. Coco was being a good sport. Orchid (Atlantis) not so much but nothing serious either.

China is my first PEW. Now I think I know why you guys appreciate them. They're my first top ears in a long time and I love their little ears. So cute!

The babies are thriving in the big girl cage! My older girls seem to be working on forgiveness. I really love watching the colony now. It's so much more interesting. It's just 6 girls but it's the biggest group I have ever had.

Yay! My boys seem to have settled in with their big brothers as well :) i had to remove the litter box as Casper would not stop hiding behind it and avoiding everyone haha. I still left spaces he could retreat to, but it seems to have done the trick and he doesnt squeak and hide anymore when someone interacts with him haha. He still gets a little upset when someone tried to pin him, but he's starting to accept it :p 9 times out of 10 though, its his trouble-making brother Dennis the Menace that's bugging him haha. Today i was cleaning their cage and the whole group of them were running around and popcorning all over the place, it was so cute!! And then they all run over to me and attack me with kisses hehe

Hahaha I love it! Eva got Penelope popcorning earlier today. I have never seen that from P before so it was pretty funny. They have taken to sleeping all together in a big ratty pile and act like they have always known each other.

I'm afraid we've all done terrible jobs of keeping this thread updated!! :(

Mr Dennis has lived up to his title of FAT black berk!! LOOK AT HIM

wFdU0rs.jpg

His pal Edgar next to him is 8 months old and Dennis is hugely bigger than him.. and he's got a big FAT head to go with it! Casper has a pretty fat face too, I wonder if it runs in the family.

The elusive Casper is ridiculously difficult to photograph... he's either moving too fast or has his face IN the camera trying to eat it so you can't see anything.. My first PEW girls were the same.. Must be a PEW thing!!

I took this video today while I was cleaning their cage. I popped them back in the cage while I went to do the laundry.. I put this box in there which is a wine box from Christmas.. I cut holes in the panels to make a little maze, but only Byron and Edgar figured out how to get up the levels, but they were all very curious.. Dennis tried but being a fat lump, he just squished it, as you'll see :p I've since converted it into a hiding house for them, but it's given me the idea to construct something out of a more sturdy material to put in their play area!

How are all the other babies doing?

Sooo cute!!! I love my girls, don't get me wrong but something about hunky man rat faces that just melts my heart! I just wanna squish and kiss them all haha :)

Awww the babies are all grown up!!! Casper looks more like his sisters...I'll try to get pics of the Leftovers later :D

You must so "Ohhh Dennis!" a lot...he was always a character and into things, and now he's a one-rat wrecking crew HAHAHAHA!
