So after almost year and half pause of ratty friends, I took in 3 boys they were all born on 9.9.2014 , so they are brothers. HOWEVER one of them looks very small compared to the others, I have never encountered this big of a size difference before, and im 98% sure they are all from same parents, and same birthdate :/

Hes at the left on this one

I have 3 girls from the same litter, born on the same day, same parents, etc and one is much smaller than the others. She is my runt. :D
For instance, last time they were weighed - Theia & Rizzy were 300 grams and Pika was 270.
As long as the little guy appears to be happy and healthy, he's probably just a runt. Just keep an eye on him and make sure he is healthy and eating well. C:
My little girl has always been smaller, but she is also a "health nut" - prefers healthier snacks and runs in the wheel constantly hehe.

Yeah, I was thinking he was a runt, but its like... he looks like SO small :D I dont think the pictures do justice, ah well, lets hope he grows and is strong. He eats like a monster though, everything he sees, its his :3

My runt was much much smaller than her siblings. She even opened her eyes about a week later than them also.
They are all 20 months old now & you would never know she was ever the runt!

I have two rats from the same litter that are about half the size of their other halfs :) The female lexi who I call my mini rat is the smallest of the two. Both are healthy and have no issues so I wouldn't be concerned but yes it does look off when they are with their bigger siblings hehe.

Thanks for the replies :3 I havent had the best of luck with my pets lately so I guess im overly worried all the time :).
