Could your mystery color be mink? Hesitating between that and Russian blue...

I was thinking Mink as well!

I'm guessing agouti. The minks I have seen seemed lighter in color than that. They definitely don't look blue anymore to me.

maybe the boys color is a russian blue? It is not the shade of blue I am used to seeing which was a soft greyish blue....or they might be mink...the little girl looks like a mink for sure .......whatever they are they are very pretty

Possibly! I definitely don't think they're Agouti. I've had Agouti babies before and they were more brown looking if I remember correctly.

They're looking more silverish grey each day!

Oh drooling here...sounds like some beautiful blues...blues just melt me...such a soft spot for them (and of course my beloved agoutis).

Babies all have their eyes open! Both beige babies are ruby eyed. They are so much harder to photograph and I didn't have much time today!

Hahaha, just wait a couple more days and it will be crazy! (Crazy fun, that is...)

I was looking at this site http://www.afrma.org/ratselfs.htm#platrat and he looks like he could be platinum as well. The Russian Blue looks darker than he is. Precious no matter what. <3 <3

Oh my goodness, is that the cutest baby ratty video or what? He is just soooo precious and sweet faced! He does look like a Russian Blue (my all time favorite). I swear Russian Blues seem to be extra kissy and licky! Just a theory. He is a doll like nobody's business. Can I come over and adopt him, pleeeeeze? :lovestruck:
