Oh, Petunia - you have no idea! The agony I experienced as I contemplated posting that puzzle here was something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I remember it like it was less than a week ago...
You know that feeling you get when you see a puzzle for the first time and you just know that puzzle is trouble? Well, that's crazy! Oooh! The big bad puzzle is out to get you! I mean come on, it's just a puzzle!
Anyway, it was raining really hard that day. I remember it well because the sun was so bright and I was getting a sunburn. So, I came inside and saw that puzzle on my desk for the first time. I have absolutely no clue how it got there!! Or I put it there earlier, who remembers these things?
Just as I was about to hit the "Submit Reply" button on the forum to post that puzzle, the voices in my head said, "Stop!" They said, "You can't post that puzzle! It has a word superimposed over another! No one will be able to solve it without help!" I knew the voices were right, but I was ignoring them because they wanted me to do all kinds of scary stuff and I told them I wouldn't and they said you must and...well, that's not what this story is about.
What is important is that I agonized over posting this puzzle for days - or 5 seconds - seriously does it matter how long I agonized or that none of this is true? What matters is that I posted it anyway! I like to think there's a little bit of each of us in this puzzle because this puzzle is about the very things that make life worthwhile: money and snack foods. You're welcome! :nahnah:

Sometimes I get SLIGHTLY carried away and post nonsensical stuff like that.
Not that I'm aware of. I actually looked up "doughnut riddles" on Google to try to find a hint for the puzzle that wouldn't give away the answer. I guess I didn't need to worry! :winksmile:
