Hey shackers. I just got a Pentax Q10, and I have noooooo idea how to get the best pictures out of it, but alas - I took some photos! Below will be JB the black hooded rat, and Shaggy the himalayan. I swear the camera didn't like to auto focus on Shaggy as much, so there might be more pictures of JB.

Trying out the fish-eye filter:

I really love how this one turned out:

Hope you enjoyed these photos! If you have any camera tips, I'd love to hear them :)

They came out good - they are very handsome rats! JB is a light black or a different color??? I have 3 black hooded and they are much darker than that. JB has a beautiful color...♥

JB looks like my Daffy - almost a smoky grey rather than a true black.
I think your pictures came out great! The fish-eye lens is funny with the wire cage behind it though. :)
Handsome boys!

Thanks everyone! And yes, JB must be some lighter sort of black, or a darker grey. I think his white fur might be feathered in with his black fur, making it blend into a lighter color, too. He definitely has mixed white/black spots that look really cool and speckled. Oh yeah, the fisheye filter wasn't a true fish eye lens, so the cage looks warped and I thought it was interesting!
