The Boys in the New Cage

Just a few pics of the rats goofing off.
Really the only thing I don't like about their cage is the whole drop pan thing. I love the idea of the fleece lining and everything but I really need to litter train them first. Which I believe would be easy but problem is, it's not like I can cover their whole cage in bedding because the bedding will fall right through. So as of right now I've got the bottom and middle of their cage covered with different fleece materials and those little things you I believe knit or crochet with? It's like a plastic square with small holes in it LOL I have no idea what it's for, but they work great and I can just wash them which is nice. I might end up buying more of those to cover it with. I don't care about it being fancy, just as long as they don't hurt they're feet it's fine with me.

Anyways, you have some pretty cute rats there! Good luck litter training them, I have always had good luck, sometimes they just catch on all by their selves, other times they just refuse lol

Haha yup that's it! It's a bit larger though and has smaller holes, and it seems to be working fine
They're pretty smart though, I think they will catch on quickly! But then again it might not work at all lol.

Yup! And I know, I was expecting it to be the thick plastic shelves with the holes in it but I read they changed it to the metal shelves :/
