They look a lot better. They also look very sweet. I am so glad you were able to save them and that they found someone who treats them the way they deserve.

Wow what a difference! It must be so great to see a cage full of nakies.

Actually no. :p Yara lives with Sage, Melvin and Waldo are on their own, and Norbert is also on his own...the older boys terrorize him (in his mind)...he's a really timid boy around other rats, and they bug him and he screams, which makes things so much worse. LOL I shall wait til he's bigger and braver and see if I can re-intro them...tried twice now since they really are only babies. So tomorrow's vet visit is 3 carriers.

Fingers and all little paws crossed to tomorrow. And you're on the bus with 3 carriers?

bus - subway - bus :)

I use the Superpet wire inserts for singles and small pairs, plus Moonkist donated me a small hamster cage as a bigger carrier that still fits in a large bag, I'll probably put the young boys in there, so Melvin doesn't get as stepped on. Dr Munn transfers them to bigger cages during the day after they arrive.

Its still an awful trip for me as I am going down during rush hour and often have to stand most of the way.

Wow!!

HAHAHA, and this is why you will often find me exhausted after a Vet Day...up early, go to work, worry, wait...stop breathing ...call for updates, worry some more until I get them in my hands, then the long trek home. LOL

That week where I went 5 times in about 8 days I had to really recover from LOL

That's it, no more doubt about it - you're a saint! I really don't know how you can do all of it, honestly!

And all those miracles are proving my saying! Never in my wildest dreams had I thought their eyes would end up healing so well! :joy:

Their eyes look freakin' AMAZING! Wow, wow, wow! Just fabulous! I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes (virtually - LOL).

What are you using on their eyes? They look fab!

Ciprofloxacin drops, and when I can I use a moisturizing drop that is blink-activated (whatever that means LOL)
I guess that most of the damage was the debris and ulceration from it. Now the drops and lack of nasty ol debris is helping them heal up :D
