yes, like Bella and like Eli's did, but these are definitely not like Eli's at all, which is why I think there's still something still rubbing away inside the eye.

I hope things go well tomorrow. We'll be thinking of the babies!

Just a pic each of the babies who had their eyes flushed, and guck removed. Yara and Waldo go back for a re-check, and Melvin goes in for the enucleation next Thursday. I also added in Norbert to have his guck removed as well :joy:

Yay! I've been thinking about these sweethearts a lot lately. I even had a dream that *I* had a nakie rat with eye issues (horrid dream, the eye popped out and I was at a vet trying to get help)

I bet they are feeling much better

All 4 babies got their cipro drops in both eyes this morning. They were surprisingly good...a bit of squinching but no struggles. I think they realize I am trying to help them, and everything I have done so far has made them feel a LOT better.

Yara's eye looks a lot better to me, probably not useable, but not as painful or scary as before. More like Eli's eye when it was shrinking up on its own.

She's a very sweet girl, likes people, easy to handle,and licky on top of it all

Same here!!! :shock: I was reading the post on how well her eye was doing, looking at the time it was posted and thinking - what the h*** happened??? So happy she's doing great!!! :joy:

So there WAS an eye behind all that gunk!

Might not be salvageable, but oh, she is truly precious... with a personality to match her looks! I'm still smitten with her, lol

I am sorry my friends for worrying you...if she had regressed, there would be unhappy face in the title, if she had died there would have been a crying face...so just to make it clear, Norbert is growing, happy and learning to play after being a shy boy. He's not light on his feet like his "little butterfly" sister, and is rather slow and heavy with popcorning, but he's still loving it

Weirdly enough, he arrived with very naked skin, and 3 days later he had developed these odd wirey bristles on his back. LOL Feels funny to touch but doesn't stop me in the least

Awwwww I was wondering how the little guy was doing. Thats so weird about the "fur" lol He WAS naked when I saw him last...
