Well as you know hubby said when the new year hits i can "maybe" have some rats     I am looking for two girls more like girly in my photo (i know hard to find) Hubby is set on finding one like her. I am looking into adopting also from Chelle if able to transport them here to me if we can do it

Well let me know if there is any rescues around.

I get my ratties from Chelle. *shifty eyes*

Last I saw, there were ratties at the Humane Society.
And Kingson Animal Rescue has some as well.

The Montreal SPCA frequently has rats. Message me if you're interested when you're ready to adopt and I can let you know what our availability is. We sometimes transfer animals to the Ottawa Humane society if there are adopters lined up, so I'm sure something along those lines can be arranged as well.

That is wonderful! I just need the rats to be non biters really as son will be around them too. That is my main concern with adopting from the OHS as they may not know if the rats bite or what not. But Chelle did get back to me and she said it may be done and we still have to look into it :joy:

That's great. If it doesn't work out, I can keep an eye out and give you a shout when we get rats that meet your needs (gender, age, temperament, etc.), although you may have to wait a little while if you're interested in a specific colour/marking.

I was going to suggest Montreal SPCA. Henry's Haven isn't toooo far from Ottawa either :stickpoke: .

That would be wonderful SQ but i do not think i am ready for full litters quite yet lol And too far from me :( i am more looking into future ratties(past Jan next year) unless someone here got that litter and raised them then they came here :giggle:

Actually, I was under the impression that someone was trying to get them .....
A lot for one person to take on so I thought they might welcome help .... But I'm just guessing

I'm also looking for some rat friends. 2 baby males preferred. I saw that the Montreal SPCA sends out to the Ottawa humane society and I think that would be great. I don't care what color they are so long as they aren't hairless...

Good luck. I thought they were adorable, but our only options are male. With two cats female, stepdaughter, Mother-in-law, all female cousins, aunts, my husband said our next pets, whatever they were had to be male :) He was tired of being alone.
