As you may know, I'm having a baby.
Unfortunately, I can't stay at my grandparents' house with my child.
The only place I have to go is my mom's.
And she has said no to the rats.

So.
I have 2, possibly 3 girls who need a good home.
The girls are free.
If you want the CN with them, the lowest I'd go is about $100. Them things are EXPENSIVE.

Spatula is a lovely little smeezer that has more energy than a Labrador puppy.
Starr doesn't much like attention from humans but dearly loves Spatula.

Bug.... I'm hesitant. Well, more so than the others.
She's been my baby for 2 years.
She's the only one left of my original 2.
I don't know how much longer she'll be.. you know.. alive.
She's started stumbling around and slipping... She's just old.

I don't want to get rid of any of them.
If I had a choice this wouldn't even be an issue.
It breaks my heart that I have to give them up.
I hate this. So, so much.

I'm really hoping someone on here can take them.
I can drive to some parts of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
If you're in Oklahoma, then even better.

I hope you guys know how much this is killing me, and I'm NOT just "tired of the rats, don't want them anymore".
I feel terrible.

ok, you are in luck, we are only 3 hrs or so apart!!
so if you can meet me in Kansas...no way I'm driving through Tulsa...lol
I'm in Garnett, Ks if you want to google map it.

consider your girls adopted Zoe :)

I Pmed you so we can work out the details!

I see a bigger cage in your future! LOL

Oh Marie you just made my day !!!! :hugs:

So happy this works out! I've got that stupid grin on my face, I'm so happy for the both of you...! Zoe, you must be relieved!

I'm very relieved, and a big thank you to Kscanuck, but I'm also very sad that I have to see my little girls go.
I know they'll be in a great home, but I'll miss the bejeesus out of them.
Even Starr, my little recluse.

I had not got anything back from you, I was just wondering :)

looks like the adoption will be taking place next sunday !!

If I lived anywhere near there, I'd be more than happy to take care of them for you, and even give them back if plans change and you can keep them after all. Maybe the new owner will send many pictures and feedback on how your ratties are doing? <:]

Oh she does!
Kscanuck785 adopted them last Sunday, and so far she's been very willing to put up with my constant whining about missing the girls and what are they doing and have you taken more pictures yet and stuff like that!
I'm so lucky!

the girls are doing great!
Yuna has picked up a new hobby, WHEELING!!
I think I've heard her mentioning " rat Olympics" or something the other day!!! LOLOLOL

they are still pretty timid, but we are getting acquainted :)

I highly suggest picking them up and shoving your face in their belly and going "HABOO BOO BOO BOO!"
They might look at you like you're crazy but their soft bellies are totally worth it.

Tell them Auntie Bug misses them.
(I swear she does. Sort of. Okay maybe she hated them but I'm trying to make her a nice rat.)
