Morris

Morris is gone. He was never sick and it just doesn't seem right that he left. I have so many sweet memories of him, he was a total people rat and was happiest with his Cocotte. See you later my sweet boy. :heart: Morris was 32 months.

Morris was such a little character, he'd be the Great Dane of the rat world. He has left us with great memories and he will forever be in our hearts.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a handsome guy, and from all the other comments it sounds as if he was also quite the character. He had a long, full, happy life, and I don't think he could have asked for better rat parents than you guys. Rest easy dear Morris.

Morris is the rat EVERYONE loved, although only a few of you guys got to meet him, and love him....

I've been so busy with school junk that I missed this.. thanks for PMing me, mamarat. I'm heartbroken that Morris has left you guys.. in my mind he's still a feisty baby. I'm so sorry for your loss.

The time he and I spent together is still vivid. All the kisses, breaking up intro fights, handing out candy on Halloween, shaking my head while he rubbed on everything, watching late night TV because I was too sad about moving to sleep.. He had a beautiful little soul. All I had to do was tilt my head into his bonding pouch to be showered with love. He was named after my childhood doctor. I just felt that he had the same strong, kind demeanor.

Many thanks to you and your husband for giving him the best of what I never could. When I get marbles together I'll post a few baby pictures. I'm in shock that he's gone.. sweet Doctor Morris. Rest peacefully, honey.

I'm so sorry mamarat. And to you too Cigar. Morris was so beloved. By you both, and a whole lot of other people too I bet (I'm absolutely one of them). I first 'met' Morris when Cigar rehomed him with mamarat and I saw pictures. He was so cute I coveted, but gotta respect the commandments so I settled for envy.
It's a loss to you both and many of us who got to know & love him. 'He had a good life' is overused, but it's sure meant for Morris' life with mamarat.
Kind of good we don't take our bodies to heaven, wouldn't be good when God's going ga-ga over the cuteness of his creation and we need his attention here.
Morris, I would have loved you only for your looks but your mom shared you with me, so I know enough to love you for who you are. Just be at peace with yourself and have a lot of fun in the heaven you chose.
