Ruby - Unknown - Nov 19th 2010

Ruby was one of the 3 girls we rescued from the SPCA back in July, along with her sisters Ellen and Anna. Ruby was the card of the bunch, the little joker who never took a single thing seriously. I wish i could live life like she did. Always the escape artist, she was first at the cage for treats. Ruby held my heart as a favorite of the crew, although I loved her sister just as much.

Ruby and her sisters live with my friend, who offered to take them when they needed a home. I have watched their journey through pictures for the last several months, watching them being spoiled rotten. For three rats who were dumped at the SPCA and came to me in cages that would burn your lungs, they surely found heaven with their new Mom. And now, heaven has found Ruby.

Play till your hearts content over the Bridge Ruby Girl, and wait for your sisters and brother to join you someday. And please, be gentle with Shai, he's a cranky old man but will warm up to you and your charms in no time. And above all, wait for me and your Mom, as we cannot wait to see you again.

She was very loved and so special. Poor little thing, just shy of a year old. Cause is unknown, she was playing fine last night hoarding treats and this morning she was curled up with her sisters, gone
