Welcome! What a detailed intro post!

Just a heads-up. We're a forum that doesn't really condone breeding, we're more of a rescue forum.
I don't know if you have an account on GooseMoose, but they're more of a "breeder" forum.

I was on Goose moose but they have more people in the states, and someone old me to come to jorats because they have more canadians. But if I'm not welcome here, then thats fine. We also have taken in rescues....

Everyone is definitely welcome, including you! We just are a rescue-based forum, but that doesn't mean you have to leave! Stick around, I'm sure you'll have lots to contribute.

We are always open to helping and recieving help from everyone. We just don't support the selling of animals or breeding.

It's unfortunate you edited your first post. We have some breeders on our forum and they respect the fact that his is a rescue forum. All the information on rat care is the same, experience and knowledge continue to be shared.
You are welcome here.
Postings of rats in the "Ratties In Need" must be from rescues and not intentionally bred.

:hello3: and welcome to the shack. :D Hope you stick around to share any knowledge and Info you have.

Awe Im sad to see Laura hasnt stuck around here. But I can say that Laura takes excellent care of her ratties, infact she has adopted from me previously and keeps me up to date on their progress. I believe she had not had a planned litter yet, and has taken in several rescues that I know of so far. I only met her in January, shes a really nice woman and a big rat lover. Hopefully you will come back Laura!

I'm guessing she came here hoping to sell babies. With our rule of no breeder ads allowed here, there's no way for her to make her money so she's gone.
