I’m new to owning rats, I took precaution and froze their bedding before adding it. I adopted them from someone who wanted to rehome them. Does this look like mites? Or could it possibly be something else??

That happens to my rats on occasion. I checked them for mites and they don’t have them luckily (I’ve had rats with mites before so I know what they look like).
It could be some rough horse play with one of the others. That’s usually the case with any rats that I’ve had.
Age also seems to play a factor in how long it takes these little nips to heal.
Do you know how old they are?

They are about 1 nd 2months each. They are pretty well bonded since they are siblings and I’ve never seen signs of aggression from them, I did consider that being a factor in it tho..
