Hi guys, I’ve had my three 8 week old girls for 2 weeks now. This evening I had them out for free roam and noticed that Poppy had passed a tiny, wet poo that was maybe 1/8 the size of their normal pops and was very runny. She did this once more a little later.
I’ve had her separated so I can monitor her for about 5 hours now and she hasn’t pooped at all. She’s still eating and drinking but is maybe a little lethargic. Nothing has changed about her diet since I brought her home 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure how long she might have had trouble pooping since she was in with the other 2 girls prior to this and they usually don’t toilet when I have them outside their cage.
I will contact some local vets in the morning, but we have no exotic vets in my area and I’m not sure of the local vets experience with rats.
Any suggestions are welcome, I just want little Poppy to be okay 😣

She seems to be pooping normally from what I see while she’s in free roam (hard to tell in the cage). She seems happy and normal so I am thinking it’s not megacolon like I was worried about yay!
That's good news. Got any pics of your two girls?🙂
