Hello, one of my boys seems like he has lost a little balance. He runs around and can jump and climb but I notice he sometimes just flops to one side and kinda lingers to the side when he runs or walks. Im not sure if it is always the same side. He is around two. He can hold food with both hands without an issue. I don't see any more signs of PT, just some lack of balance. I have steroids, and Baytril on hand. I've treated for PT before but never an ear infection. How can I tell between the two? Im really hoping it is a ear infection. Just lost a boy to PT not long ago. But he's ears don't smell funky and his head is not tilted. I'm leaning towards PT, is there a way I can be sure?

can you post a video?
Wasn't able to get a video yet. I will try to get one later. Just realized he flops to the side when he tries to scratch himself. And just flops to one side in general? His kinda leaned a bit to that side at all time. But he's head is not tilted. It just occurred to me the possibility that he might have had a stroke ? I've never dealt with that tho so I'm not sure if that could be it

in the beginning it looked more like a tilt indicating inner ear infection. It doesn't look like stroke or PT at least
One more thing ! I am aware that a steroid and Baytril are good to treat an ear infection but I'm not sure about how long he would have to be on it. Is it around 4-6 weeks like a respiratory infection?
