Hi all!

I'm new to this forum but not new to the rat world. I have owned 5 rats in the past, 2 boys (Niklaus and Damon), and 3 girls (Hope, Faith and Charity).

While I'm not new to owning rats I don't consider myself a pro either so any constructive criticism will be appreciated.

All my past rats were rescued and all over the age of 6 months.

My new 2, Inky (white stripe on face) and Splat are only 8 weeks old and super tiny!

Anything I should know about baby rats that maybe useful other than the fact they grow quick?

They're on science selective pellets at the moment. Im not sure if protein is too low. Should I add anything to it?

I'll add a photo of my set up. IMG_20200619_201532264.jpgIMG_20200619_200308572.jpgIMG_20200619_182221811.jpg

Ah ok I'll look into that.

Is my setup ok?
I don't see why not, but other people would be better at answering that, maybe put it in the habitat section. I used cleanable items like cotton fleece, and plastics which I then switched to metals that don't retain odor and ceramics. I give mine the safe contents of the recycling bin to play with, since that way I can economically throw away their toys before they get smelly.

Awww …. sweet babies …….
Science Select is supposed to be a good block for rats. rats need low protein and although the block will provide all their nutritional needs, rats also need to get a variety of daily vegs etc
