Hammock

I purchased this nice hammock fo my rat cage and I can't get them to use it. Is there a trick to this?

Some rats love hammocks while others don't I would just leave it in there, add a couple of small treats in the hammock to entice them. Otherwise, it might take them a few days to realize it's a great spot for naps.

Oo does that word mean you got him a rat friend?! The trick seems to be, they like to feel they're being hugged by the "ground", so you either plop a big cloth (all bunched up) into it, or just attach another piece of cloth on top making it as snug as a pocket, so that they can burrow & can be away from light.
