My boy, Casper, passed away at around midnight, 2/4/22. It was very sudden, and it still doesn't feel real. One moment, he was fine, and the next... I heard some thrashing from his cage, and when I go over to check on him, he's gone. I'm still not sure what happened. He had some milky discharge around his eyes at the time of death, I don't know if that's normal or not. I know he was getting on in years, but I thought he had more time. All I can do at this point is hope that the passing was painless.
