Eucalyptus wood for rats?

I bought a cage, that is arriving tomorrow, and it comes with 3 wooden dowels for birds. They are made of eucalyptus wood, and someone with rats said it was safe. I would like some answers since i cannot find if thats safe or not anywhere. Thankyou!

If I'm remembering correctly eucalyptus is on the toxic list of wood for rats, I'm not 100% on it but I would avoid them(you might be able to just remove them from the cage)
