Hello! I'm new

Hi! My name is Kyle and I'm 15. I just got my first rat about two weeks ago. His name is Dookie. I'll be getting another one shortly so that they aren't lonely. My brother's girlfriend got me interested in rats. She has 5 females. I'm really looking forward to being part of the community here. I play bassoon, trombone, and bass guitar. I love pinball and video games. I work at a skating rink and I play hockey.

So glad that you are getting him a friend soon
If they are both under 12 weeks old, you can just put them together as they will be babies.
If either are over 12 weeks old, you will need to do gradual intros so no one is harmed

Thank you! I'm from New York. Dookie is 6 weeks old and I'll be getting Boogie in 2 weeks or so, so they'll be fine together.
