Mariel's progress

Mari is still not easy to handle and doesn't like playing with the other rats during floor time, preferring instead to hide in one place under the entertainment center and eat her little apple bites. So, that's still a work in progress.

However, she loves all of her cage mates, plays and cuddles with them in the cage, shares her wheel with no problem, and has found a safe place for herself in the cage that she will accept treats and occasional scritches from.

Here is her favorite place.




And here is her current set up with Tamsin (brown and white), Perrin (brown), and Pancake (white, but not pictured, because she's napping in the Dr. Pepper box.

She's pretty in that blue hammock. Looks like a nice little commune for her and her fellow rats.

Awwww wonderful news

Thank you. I was hoping she'd be at a point by now where she would have bonded with my a little more, but I'm just excited at how well she's doing with her buddies.

She reminds me of my little girl, Rajie. Beautiful little naked you have there.
