Mother rat baby mice

Ok, i have a nest of orphaned baby mice. I put them with a rat i think (think mind you) is pregnant. But now she loves them and treats them like her pups, I do not think she has milk and the pups are too young for me to feed them myself. So is there any way to jump start her milk?

Oh gosh never heard of that in rats. Also, I'm surprised she didn't eat them (morbid, I know). Have you considered trying to feed them formula with a tiny paint brush?

Well I just checked and looks like she ate all of them except one..... but she seems to like that one sooo..

It is possible that they died and that she cleaned up so that their bodies would not attract predators

Mammals produce milk for their babies.
I don't know if there are rare cases when it can happen otherwise.

When was the last time she was with a boy (ie how many days/ weeks do you think she is at)?
Can you post some pics showing her belly from different angles?

She was with a male about 3 weeks ago, and her stomach is pretty tight.
