yeah, like i am going to tell you
Ok, i have a nest of orphaned baby mice. I put them with a rat i think (think mind you) is pregnant. But now she loves them and treats them like her pups, I do not think she has milk and the pups are too young for me to feed them myself. So is there any way to jump start her milk?

Oh gosh never heard of that in rats. Also, I'm surprised she didn't eat them (morbid, I know). Have you considered trying to feed them formula with a tiny paint brush?

:( I am so very sorry.
It is possible that they died and that she cleaned up so that their bodies would not attract predators

Hope that her babies are born very soon as the first few days of mama's milk contains colostrum which is essential for the survival of babies (it can be ordered by a vet if there is a problem) http://ratguide.com/breeding/postpartum/lactation_and_milk.php
