$4.95- yes- $4.95- the price of a venti frappuccino in the Baltimore area- is all we're asking for this summer! Can you spare the cost of a large coffee treat to help the animals?
The Travelin' Rat's mission is to help animal rescues, especially those that take in rats, wherever we can, in whatever way we can. We do this through several ways, but the primary way is by raising funds then donating them to rescues in need.
The Travelin' Rat works hard throughout the year to earn money for the rescues we help. We do not, however, have any fundraisers scheduled during the summer months to raise funds for such programs as the Emergency Rescue Fund. Nor do we make phone calls, mail supporters directly, or email and ask for donations. Therefore, we designed this Cuppa Campaign to help us keep our Emergency Rescue Fund available to the rescues during the summer months.
Please take a look at who we are and what we do. In addition to our Rescue of the Month program and Emergency Rescue Fund, we have been able to donate to rescues during certain holidays and celebrations. Recently, we have even been able to help several of them with hoarding situations.

If 100 people would be willing to donate the cost of a large, icy beverage to us between July and August, that would be almost $500. And that would help us with 5 $100 grants to the rescues that need it.
